Facilities
Originally,
the home served the community from its first location at Cook
and Lincoln Streets in downtown Barrington. The funeral home relocated
to south Cook Street in 1929, but soon after moved to its present,
larger facility at 149 W. Main Street to better serve its patrons.
Upon
purchasing the funeral home in 1996, Jack and Lisa Davenport have
redecorated the facilitiy and have installed handicap accessibility
features to accommodate all visitors. Throughout the renovation
of the funeral home, the Davenports were careful to maintain the
architectural integrity of the building. Rich woodwork and a simple
fan-shaped leaded window enhance the home-like atmosphere of the
facility.
Davenport
Family Funeral Home offers two chapels for services. Additional

"We
