Emil "Buck" Golen, Jr.

Emil “Buck” Golen, age 71 of Barrington Illinois passed away November 14, surrounded by loving family. Beloved husband of Elizabeth “Lili” Kilbridge and the late Pamela (Kurivial) Golen.

Loving father of Greer (Dean) Archbold II and Blair Golen. Stepfather of James (Molly) McGovern and Terry (Kennedy) McGovern. Cherished grandfather of Julia and Tommy McGovern and Chase and Alexys Archbold.

Dear brother of Susan (Larry) Smith.  Brother-in-law of Patrick Kilbridge, Daniel (Anna) Kilbridge, Peggy Kilbridge (the late Steve) Brothman, Michael (Helen Delgado) Kilbridge, Robert (Amy) Kilbridge, Vincent (Gina Borremeo) and the late Ellen Kilbridge. Buck was a dear uncle to many nieces and nephews and had many loving cousins.

Buck was born in Chicago on October 19, 1952 to the late Emil S Golen and Lorraine Marie (nee Resutko) Golen.

Donations can be made in Buck’s name to the Brain Aneurysm Foundation.

Visitation will be from 3pm until the prayer service at 7:30pm Thursday November 16 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. Barrington, IL.
