Gerald E. Johnson

Gerald E. Johnson, 87, of Crystal Lake, IL passed away July 30, 2023. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on August 26, 1935 to the late Everett and Florence Johnson.

Gerald enjoyed playing bridge in his free time, he was an excellent player and earned himself the title of a Bridgemaster. He worked in the field of finance for over 40 years with various companies. In his younger days, he loved racing cars and was an avid proponent of going all electric for vehicles.

Jerry is survived by his wife, whom he married February 28, 2022, Pauline (nee Sielski) Johnson; children, Christopher (Sarah) Johnson, and Constance (Frank) Jesser; and niece Joanne (Ronald) Milavek.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 4, 2023 from 1pm until the time of a Prayer Service at 430pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory 419 E Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake.
