John A. Roselli

John A. Roselli, 98, of Buhl, MN and Deer Park, IL, and formerly of Duluth, MN and Hudson, OH, passed away peacefully December 14, 2022. John was born October 20, 1924 in Virginia, Minnesota to the late Dominic and Filomene (nee Veccheola) Roselli.
John entered the Army during WWII, and was awarded the Purple Heart after being wounded during combat in France. After the war he returned to marry Rose, the love of his life, before earning an MBA at the University of Chicago. Following 35 years as an accountant/controller for US Steel and its subsidary Alside, John was a successful partner/owner of Michigan Limestone Operations of Rogers City MI until his final retirement.
John enjoyed fishing, curling, and spending time at their cabin in northern Minnesota. He and Rose were avid golfers in the Midwest and throughout the US. Some of John’s happiest times were spent with his family on golf trips, with plenty of laughs and competition for all.
John is survived by his loving wife of 75 years, Rose (nee Jugovich) Roselli; children, John (Marilyn) Roselli and Patrick (Bonnie) Roselli; grandchildren, Caroline Roselli, Kevin (Kristin) Roselli, and Mark Roselli; great grandchildren, Patrick Dunn, Connor Dunn, Emilia Roselli and Ethan Roselli; and many nieces and nephews.
John is preceded in death by his sister, Maryann (Bob) Kirkpatrick.
Services for John will be held privately.
