Nazir Habib Ibrahim

Nazir Habib Ibrahim was born on May 7, 1924 in Maadi, Egypt to Habib Ibrahim and Folla Sidhom,who had three other children: Wagih, Adel, and Nabil. He graduated from Cairo University in Cairo Egypt with a BS in Agriculture and had a long career in Nutrition. He was married to Yvonne George Baghos in 1958 for 54 years till she passed away in 2012, and had two sons, Alexander and Warren. In 1973 the family emigrated to the Chicago area to join their extended family, where he remained. Nazir was a man of few words but had a wonderful sense of humor, a passion for family, a sweet tooth, and praying daily. Nazir had an amazing way about him to make each person he encountered feel special with a simple hello, a smile, or God bless you.

Nazir Habib passed away the early morning of January 10,2018 at the Garlands of Barrington surrounded by his family. He is survived by his two sons Alex and Warren, their spouses Mark and Lindsay, and his six grandchildren, Alexandria, Blake, Lani, Jacob, Lea and Kai; and his brothers Adel and Nabil.

Nazir's Memorial

There will be a Celebration of his life on Saturday, January 13th, 2 p.m. at the Garlands of Barrington. 2000 Garlands Lane, Barrington IL 60010 in the Timbers Lounge at 2:00pm.
