Adam "Chubby" Haviland Traver

Adam Haviland Traver, 49, of Lake Zurich, was born on February 13, 1971 to Katherine Louise (nee Haviland) and Craig Stewart Traver and passed away on September 10, 2020. Adam was the loving brother of Anne (John) Kleb, Molly (Charles) Ott, Devona (Dean) Virgin, Justin Traver, Sarah (Donald) West, Andrew Traver, and Katy (Christopher) Woods; and dear friend of Denise, Krista, Sammy, and Braylin Obenchain, Edward Popelka, Jr., and Mary McCullough; beloved uncle of Sarah Allison, Matthew, David, Corey (James) Schubert, Peter, Victoria, Allix, Cassie, Jordan, Jessica, Craig, Christine, Mason, Rebecca, Auden, Lily, Emry, and Bella Marie. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Craig Stewart Traver II, Matthew Roger Traver and John Brown Traver.

Some of Adam’s hobbies included slot car racing, building models, collecting and caring for aquatic fish, and snowmobiling in earlier years. He will be remembered for making everyone laugh and reciting the most iconic movie lines.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Old Rand Rd., Lake Zurich, IL.

Due to COVID, an additional visitation will be held at Thompson Spring Grove Funeral Home, 8103 Wilmot Rd., Spring Grove, IL 60081, on Friday, October 16, from 5:00pm until 8:00pm with a funeral mass the following morning at 10:30am at St. Peter Catholic Church, 2118 Main St., Spring Grove, IL 60081.
