Adele Schrod

Adele Schrod, 80, of Barrington, was born on December 20, 1935 in Recklinghausen, Germany to Johann and Anna (nee Sukowski) Rogowsky. She passed away at her home in Barrington on Monday, March 21, 2016.

Adele is survived by her son, Thomas (Kimberly) Rogowsky; her grandchildren, James and Megan Rogowsky; and her siblings, Helmut Rogowsky and Gisela Bennemann.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Schrod; and her parents.

The family will receive guests from 9:30am until time of funeral service at 11:30am, Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St., Barrington, IL 60010. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Autism Speaks, 1060 State Rd., 2nd Floor, Princeton, NJ 08540.
