Adele Ruth (Temma) Suchy

Adele Ruth Suchy, 83, of Barrington passed away on December 27, 2017. She was born in DeKalb, IL on December 23, 1934 to the late Alfred and Lillian (nee Andersen) Temma.
Adele grew up on a farm in Hinckley, IL. It was there she met her husband, Donald Suchy. They were looking forward to celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on December 28th. Adele worked for the Barrington School District and for a time was the treasurer of the Sportman’s Club. She was an avid reader and enjoyed many activities, including square dancing, gardening, and going to casinos to gamble and play bingo. She and Don loved traveling and did manage to visit all 50 States including Mexico and Canada.
She will be missed by her husband, Donald; children, Karen (Jim) Doyle, Steve (Dawn) Suchy, David (Coleen) Suchy; grandchildren, Heather Acton, Cate (Chris) Donaldson, Amanda Suchy, Kevin Suchy and Brian Suchy; and great grandchildren, Joshua and Addison Acton and Rose Donaldson.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Janice Florence.
A visitation will be held Saturday morning, December 30, from 10 am until 12 noon at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Cemetery, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook Rd.), Barrington. Burial will be held privately at Evergreen Cemetery.
