Alan R. Sperling

Alan R. Sperling, 79, of Lake Zurich, passed away peacefully at his home, Wednesday, August 8, 2018, after battling cancer for over two years. Alan was born July 11, 1939 in Chicago to Morris and Dorothy (Cohen) Sperling.

Alan is survived by his wife of 35 years, Angelika “Angie” (Vucic) Sperling; children, Scott (Suzanne) Sperling, and Monica (Aaron) Wright; step daughter, Ana Marie Sanchez; grandchildren, Audrey, Sam, Benjamin, Easton, Ashton, and Paelyn; brother, Todd (Judy) Sperling; sister in law, Doreen Sperling; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Shelby.

Memorial visitation will begin at 10am until 1pm, with a brief memorial service at 12:30 pm, Saturday, August 18 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 941 S. Old Rand Road, Lake Zurich, IL 60047 (near the corner of Route 12 and South Old Rand Road).
