Albert Riehle

Barrington, Illinois,Mass of Christian Burial for Albert Riehle, 89, of Barrington, will be said at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at St. Anne Church, 120 Ela Street (at the corner of Franklin and Ela Streets), Barrington, where he will lie in state from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the mass. Born May 27, 1920 he passed away January 15, 2010 at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in River Grove. Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m., Monday, January 18, at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook Rd.), Barrington. Survivors include his children, Charlotte Link, Diane (Art) New, Albert (Carol), Darlene (the late Richard) Kunkel, Marilyn (David) Salyers, Nancy (Dennis Ahlers) Kapel, and Robert (Kathy); 21 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. He was the loving son of the late Albert and Edna Riehle, and fond brother of 2 sisters and 6 brothers. He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Norma, and his son Dennis (Carol).
