Albert John Ward Jr., passed away, October 2, 2012 at Barrington Hospice Home after 2 months of hospital, nursing home and in home care.He was born August 18, 1922 in Parkersburg, West Virginia to Albert J. and Matilda A. (Lied) Ward.Al is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jean L. (Mattson) Ward; son, Albert John Ward III and wife, Emily Marie (Quinn); daughter, Janet Lynne Lueshen and husband, Harvey; seven grandchildren, Jaime M. (Darren) Windham, Bryan C. (Tamara) Ward, Erik Q. Ward, Kelly E. (Adam) Osterberg, Kevin M. (Jessica) Lueshen, Kelsey P. (Laura) Lueshen and Kristy J. Lueshen and thirteen great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Evelyn Doris.Memorial service will be held at 11a.m., Saturday, October 6,2012, at St. Paul United Church of Christ, 401 E. Main Street, Barrington, IL 60010, with a memorial visitation held one hour prior to service.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul United Church of Christ,General Fund would be appreciated; 847-381-0460.
