Albina A. Kiolbassa, of Crystal Lake, passed away Monday, March 9, 2015 at the age of 95. She was born December 18, 1919 in Chicago to Fred and Anna (nee Rzepecki) Oleksy.
Albina was an avid bowler, even going bowling into her eighties. She was also devoted to her pets, especially her dogs and cats.
Albina is survived by her children, Pete (Carole), Judy (Peter) Kruzicevich, Barb (Tony) Anticevich; grandchildren, Pete, Dave (Dawn), John (Ellen), Scott (Colleen) Kiolbassa, Joyce (Alan) Strub, Kathy (Jake) Kopp, Susan Kruzicevich, Jason (Karolina), Clint (Lisa), Matt (Sherry), and Todd (Jamie) Anticevich; and 14 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, Peter Kiolbassa; and granddaughter, Janine Kiolbassa.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 13, 2015 from 9 a.m. until prayers at 10:45 a.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave (Rt 176) Crystal Lake. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 451 W Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake. Burial will follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles.
