Alexander V. Katehos

Alexander V. Katehos, of Grayslake, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2021. He was born on February 8, 1944 in Chicago to Vincent and Mary Katehos.

Throughout his life, Alex was always ready to help anyone, he was quick to laugh and always had a joke ready. He was an avid sports fan, especially cheering for the Chicago Bears and a motorcycle enthusiast. He always enjoyed riding his motorcycle, particularly to Lake Geneva and its surrounding areas. As much as he loved the open road, Alex’s career as an estimator had him feeling the most at home on a construction site.

Alex is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Katehos Wyrtzen; his sister, Penny Renda; and by many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Pat Katehos.

Services and interment for Alex will be held privately.
