Allan Lannom

A celebration of Allan LeRoy Lannom’s life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 21, at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook Road), Barrington. A luncheon will immediately follow the service. Burial will be private.

Born April 21, 1945, in Chicago, he passed away Sunday, June 8, 2014, at the age of 69, in Barrington.

Allan was a principal at Houlihan Valuation Advisors, and held the position since 1992. He started in the appraisal business in 1969. Allan was the former International President of The American Society of Appraisers, as well as a member of their Business Valuation Advisory Committee. He was a Fellow of the American Society of Appraisers (FASA) and a member of FRICS.

He will be forever remembered for his generosity, great sense of humor, and optimism. He was a well-respected member of the business community and his gregarious spirit earned him more friends than a man could ever wish to have.

Survivors include his stepdaughter, Dana (Joshua Schneider) Madonia; sister, Myra Perry of Torrance, CA; nephew, Tod (Sarah) Perry; and niece, Leigh (Robert) Diotalevi.

Allan was preceded in death by his wife, Donna; and parents, Bette and Clyde Lannom.
