Amber Caitlin Mailey

Amber Caitlin Mailey, 29, of Cary passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 4, 2020.  She was born in Des Plaines on May 18, 1991.

Amber was a graduate of Cary Grove High School class of 2009.  Amber was diagnosed with Type I Diabetes as a child yet she didn’t let that stop her or limit her.  Amber dedicated her life to the arts and used her gifts as an artist to bless others.   She enjoyed volunteering for the Jaycees and will be missed by so many.

Survivors include her parents, Joshua (Rebecca) Mailey and Anne (Tony) Pietraszewski-Bonet; sisters, Allie  and Lorelai Bonet and Kylie, Alexis, and Kathleen Mailey; grandparents, Mel and Kathy Pietraszewski and Cheryl and Mike Fitzpatrick.

Amber was preceded in death by her grandfather, Jake Mailey.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, October 6th, from 9 am until 10:30 am at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake.  We will then process to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church for mass at 11:00 am.
