Andrea Maree Hesse

Andrea Maree Hesse, of Crystal Lake, passed away at her home on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at the age of 74.

She was born March 13, 1945, in Omaha, Nebraska, the only child of the late Gerald Wayne and Grace Elizabeth (nee Schuler) Hale.

Andrea received her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Iowa State University. In 1967, she was united in marriage to Richard Hesse in Fort Madison, Iowa.
Andrea will be remembered for her love of nature. She appreciated her time gardening and found much enjoyment in canning her own fruits and vegetables. Andrea also had a love for animals and her hobby of photography.

Andrea will be dearly missed by her husband, Richard; her son, James; and brother-in-law, Ray (Trudy) Hesse.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation for Andrea will be held Friday, June 7, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave. (Rt. 176) Crystal Lake.
