Andrea Rose Oken

Andrea Rose Oken, born June 26, 1946 passed away peacefully on July 31, 2022.

Andrea, Tee as she was called, was passionate about animals. She was an avid horse woman. On the weekends she would invite friends and family over for horse rides and dinner.  Tee also enjoyed traveling.  She took trips with her nieces to Alaska, Boston, the Caribbean  and Martha's Vineyard.  She enjoyed spending time with her club of ladies.

Andrea was preceded in death by her loving brother Terrance and her parents Virginia and Raymond Oken.

Andrea is survived by her sister Paula Marshall and sister-in-law Madeline Oken.

She will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews, Scott (Barb) Oken, Stacy Oken, Robert (Miranda) Yellin, Raechel (James) Dement and Ryann Yellin. She was great aunt to Charles Oken, William Oken and Joshua Dement.

Tee loved roses and lilies but she requested donations be made to animal welfare charities in lieu of flowers.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 05, 2022 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. Barrington, IL. Procession to Maryhill Cemetery to follow. A luncheon will be held afterwards at The White Eagle in Niles, IL at 2 p.m.
