Andrew R. Engelhardt, 48, of Barrington, IL. passed away peacefully on August 11, 2021. He was born on February 4, 1973 in Arlington Heights, IL.

Andrew was an Estimator and Representative at Parisi Paving and Sealing. He also worked as a Coordinator for both LifeSource and Suncoast blood banks.

Andrew enjoyed his years of service as a volunteer with the Barrington Fire Department where his list of friends grew. Andrew enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. Being an avid sports enthusiast, Andrew enjoyed yelling at the ESPN hosts he often disagreed with. Best ever seat was on the 50-yard line at a Dallas Cowboys game. Andrew was also a beef jerky connoisseur.

He is survived by his parents Glenn and Janice Engelhardt, his brother Matthew (Andy) Engelhardt. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Louis and Margaret Engelhardt and Lillian Ward.

Visitation will be held August 18, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 149 W. Main Street (Lake-Cook Rd) Barrington, IL 60010. A celebration of life reception will follow at Francesca’s Famiglia in Barrington.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to either St. Mark’s Church at 337 Ridge Rd. Barrington, IL. 60010 or JourneyCare Hospice at 405 Lake Zurich Rd. Barrington, IL. 60010.
