Angela Pompilio

Angela Pompilio, 88 of Lake Barrington, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2025. She was born on September 19,1936 in Triggiano, Bari, Italy to Peter and Maria (nee Sacco) Sansonetti. 

She was the beloved wife of the late Frank R. Pompilio; loving mother to Louis, Mary Ann and Peter (Ann); cherished grandmother to Kevin; sister-in-law to Mary Sansonetti; and dear aunt to many nieces and nephews. 

Angela was preceded in death by her parents and dear siblings John, Isabella (Edzio) Bentivoglio, and Vincent (Phyllis).

Visitation will be Friday, February 28 from 3 pm until 9pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Old Rand Rd., Lake Zurich 60047. Visitation will continue Saturday from 9:30am until the time of mass at 10:30am at St. Anne Catholic Community, 120 N. Ela St., Barrington 60010 (corner of Franklin and Ela Sts). Entombment to follow at All Saints Catholic Cemetery and Mausoleum, Des Plaines.
