Angela S. (Di Silvestro) Santangelo

Angela Santangelo (nee Di Silvestro), long-time resident of Barrington, IL, passed away at the age of 94 with her loving family by her side.

Angela was born on October 25, 1924 in Chicago, IL to Rose and Peter Di Silvestro.  She lived a long and vibrant life devoted to her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Angela enjoyed reading, gardening, baking, and cooking for family holidays. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by loving children, Ernest, Richard, Robert (the late Mary), Peter (Kathy), and Mary (Jeff) Keyser; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ernest P. Santangelo; brothers, Anthony and Robert Di Silvestro; and sister, Anita Vento.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am on Friday, May 10, 2019 at Saint Anne Catholic Community, 120 N. Ela St. (corner of Franklin and Ela Sts.), Barrington where a visitation will be held for one hour prior to the mass. Burial to follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.

A Visitation will be held from 4 pm until 8 pm on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook Road), Barrington.
