Ann L. (Walgren) Engels

Ann L. Engels, of Cary, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on October 11, 2017 at the age of 84.

She was born August 2, 1933 in Chicago, the daughter of Rudolph and Wilma (nee Notz) Walgren.

Ann was a loving mother to Nancy (Robert) Setnan, Lisa Notarnicola-Engels (Peggy Ognaceivic-Engels), Steve (Katy) Engels, Leonard (Mary) Engels, David (Nancy) Engels, and Ken (Chris) Engels; beloved grandmother to Vince (Taryn), Rob, Angela, Valerie, Joe, Becky, Jim (Jessica), Kyle (Melina), Michael, Jenny, Marty, Tom, and Alli; loving great-grandmother to five; and sister of Doris and Joan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant twin boys, Joseph and John; and sister, Marilyn (John).

Visitation will be held Saturday, October 14, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 2:00 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave (Rt. 176) Crystal Lake.
