Ann Marsland

Ann Marsland (nee Ocheltree) 79, of Algonquin and formerly of Palatine, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at her home with her family by her side.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Jack; her children Jennie (Joe Murphy), Kate (Alan Harkrader) and Charlie (Ann) Marsland; two grandsons, Matthew and Max; her sister Lorinda (John) Bradford; and sister-in-law Joan Jewell.

Ann cherished her family and friends and was a dedicated volunteer for the Friends of the Algonquin Area Library for many years. She enjoyed world travel, reading, cooking, knitting and watching Jeopardy! Ann graduated from Wellesley College, class of 1953, Phi Beta Kappa
