Ann Nevills

Ann Pelton Nevills 67, of Crystal Lake, died Thursday, August 13, 2015 in Woodstock, IL. She was born on May 3, 1948 in Elgin, IL to Robert and Caryl (nee Wilkes) Pelton.

Ann was a graduate of Colorado State University and later attended community college in Crystal Lake, where she found her true passion in photography. In 1995 she opened her store Clix, continuing her professional photography business and selling work featuring local artists.

Ann always had a great sense of humor and she lived life to the fullest taking every opportunity to travel and learn new things. She was an active community leader and an inspiration to all those that knew her. She will be greatly missed.

Ann is survived by her children, Kevin (Holly) Nevills, Daniel Nevills, and Debra (Brandon) Hlad; and grandchildren, Sophia Nevills, Ryder Castillo-Nevills, and Ian Hlad.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Paul Nevills, and her sister Barbara (Paul) Goodwin.

The memorial visitation will be held Saturday, August 29, beginning at 1:00pm until a service at 2:30 pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rt. 176) Crystal Lake Illinois 60014.
