Anne Bania

Anne Bania passed away peacefully June 3, 2020 in Hawthorn Woods with her loving family by her side.  She was born February 19, 1935 in Poland to Gregory and Maria Grodzicki.

Anne loved spending time with her family and found joy and beauty in the garden.

Anne is survived by her children, Ted (Audrey) Bania, Henry (Nancy) Bania, Emily (Mark) Andreasik, Gene (Christine) Bania, and Lucy (Bruce) Mizuno; grandchildren, Jennifer, Kristin, Robin, Anthony, Amanda, Jeremy, Justin, Josh, Nick, Vivian, and Lillian; and great grandchildren, Caleb, Colton, Vince, Casey, and Laila.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Casimer; son, Edward; sister, Sophie; and brother, Mike.

Visitation will be held from 8:30am until the funeral service at 10:30am, Saturday, June 6 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 941 S. Old Rand Road, Lake Zurich.  Burial will be private at St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles.
