Anne Louise Koehler (nee Opitz) passed away peacefully at her home in Wheeling, IL on April 23, 2020. She was born January 17, 1925 in Chicago, IL to the late William and Anna Opitz. She is survived by her children, Patricia (Mike) Reiser and Mary (Rob) Janiak; grandchildren, Diane (Jason) Carrel, Elizabeth Janiak, Jillian Janiak, Rayne Janiak, Matthew Reiser and Michael Reiser. She will be fondly remembered for her love of life, laughing, country music and hugs! Her hobbies were crocheting, reading, puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren. She will also be missed by her friends at Project Linus, where she created many blankets for needy children.
Memorial Visitation will begin at 1:00pm followed by a Celebration of Life at 4:00pm on Saturday, April 24, 2021
