Anne Schmidt

Anne Schmidt, 91, of Crystal Lake, Illinois and formerly of Eagle Rock, Missouri, and Arlington Heights, Illinois, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the Hospice of Northeastern Illinois in Woodstock. She was born on March 14, 1921 in Chicago to John and Anna (Bilo) Dinchak.

Survivors include her children, Richard (Gina Hernandez) Schmidt, Lawrence (Kathleen) Schmidt, Gordon Schmidt, and Anne (Ed) Dolik; seven loving grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; her sister, Mary Pinkerton; and a brother, George Dinchak.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard, a son Kimberly, and grandson Michael.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 17, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, April 18 at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home and Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 451 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. Interment will be in St. John Nepomucene Cemetery in Barrington Hills.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Northeastern Illinois, 450 Lake Zurich Rd, Barrington IL 60010-3141.
