Anne Sperando nee Cantalupo, age 96, passed away on July 29,2011, at Wauconda Healthcare & Rehab.
She was born on September 8,1914, to Tony and Rose Cantalupo, nee Guerra.
Anne married John Sperando on June 14, 1941.
She is survived by her loving children, Annarose (Anthony) Lorenzo, Lucille (Pat) Rielly, Charlene (Gregory) Pease, and Charles (Kathleen) Sperando; cherished grandchildren Mark (Jill) Lorenzo, Susie (Wade) Mccoig, Tina Culbertson, Dawn Rielly, Dione (Matthew) Deleonardo, Jason (Tamara) Pease, and Andrea (Ryan) Day; dearest great grandmother of 13 and great great grandmother of many; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband John Sperando, parents Tony and Rose Cantalupo, brother Ralph Cantalupo and sisters Millie (late Emil) Kotvan, Mary (late Anthony) Discipio, Nicolina Cantalupo, and Lucy Cantalupo.
Visitation for Anne will be held on Monday, August 1,2011, from 4-9pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Avenue (Rte 176), Crystal Lake. Funeral prayers will be said at 9:15am on Tuesday August,2,2011, at the funeral home, processing to St. Margaret Mary Church, 111 S. Hubbard Street, Algonquin, IL 60102, for a 10am Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
