Anne M. Timlin, 82, of Deer Park, IL passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 13, 2018. She will be remembered by her loving family and many friends for her kind heart and caring personality. Anne was born in 1936 in Chicago to her hard working parents, Nicolas and Adeline. She earned a teaching degree from Mundelein College, the first in her family to do so.
Anne was a loving and devoted wife and mother of 7 children. She developed sharp business management skills helping her husband Michael run his successful financial planning business. Notable hobbies included organizing and running numerous Ladies Auxiliary functions for the Knights of Columbus, Knights of Columbus Tootsie Roll drive volunteer and Eucharist Minister at Good Shepherd Hospital. Anne was a skilled Bridge Player and unbeatable at the board game Trivial Pursuit.
Anne will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Michael; children Michael III (Nancy Snyder), Martin, Nicolas (Erna), Diane, Daniel, Neil (Linda Hill) and David. Loving Grandmother of Moses, Paul, Nick (Ruth), Claire, Daniel, David, Joseph, Amanda and Patrick. She was a loving aunt to Doug (Lisa) Knoeppel, Mark (Mary Beth) Knoeppel, and Chris (Kim) Knoeppel. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her sister, Irene (Ray) Knoeppel.
Memorial visitation will be Saturday, May 19, 2018; at 10 AM until the 11 AM Memorial Mass at Saint Anne’s Catholic Church, 120 N. Ela St. (Corner of Franklin and Ela Sts), Barrington, IL 60010.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite U.S. Veterans charity.
