Antoinette (Loffredo) D’Agostino, 92, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2021 at her home in Lake Zurich, IL.
Antoinette was born on September 24, 1929 in Chicago, to Pasquale and Mary (nee Santercola) Loffredo. She was the middle child with two brothers (Paul and Frank). She was preceded in death by her husband Leo D’Agostino whom she married on Valentine’s Day, 1953. Together they raised four children and celebrated 62 years of marriage.
Antoinette was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Mama D (a name her first son-in-law gave her) was a master of Italian cooking and baking. No one left her home hungry and she celebrated all holidays with traditional foods and festive decorations. Her Pizzelle cookies were treasured by all. She truly had the biggest heart for others. She did all the little things without complaints and always with a smile.
Antoinette is survived by her children, ten grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren with another on the way. We will miss you GG.
