Antonino "Tony" Dugo

March 30, 1965 — December 12, 2021

Davenport Crystal Lake

Antonino “Tony” Dugo passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 12, 2021 in Barrington, IL. He was surrounded by his loving family. Tony was born on March 30, 1965 to Biagio and Rosaria (Alloro) Dugo.

Tony married the love of his life and his best friend, Georgia, on September 22, 2002 and they settled in Crystal Lake, IL where they raised their two beautiful daughters, Annabella & Alexia.

He worked in Credit & Collections for Enova International and was looking forward to celebrating his 10 year anniversary with the company next year.

Tony had a great sense of humor and a laugh that penetrated a room and a smile that lit up a room. He had perfect comedic timing for certain situations and was quick to make those around him laugh in an instant. He had a love for baking, and he baked quite often to his family’s enjoyment. His homemade breads were comparable or better than any bakery around.

He also enjoyed all the classics including music, cartoons and Marvel comics (especially Spider-Man). In particular, Tony loved the classic muscle cars of the late ‘60’s and early ‘70’s. In his spare time he attended classic car shows and dreamed of owning his own as a hobby when retired.

Most of all, he was a devoted husband and best friend to his wife of nearly 20 years and a loving, caring father to his two beautiful daughters. They always came first in his life. He was the definition of a family man and was selfless with the kindest heart, a true heart of gold. Tony was also a loyal friend and cherished all his friendships. He would drop everything to help anyone if needed.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Georgia (Demitralis); his loving daughters, Annabella & Alexia; his mother, Rosaria (Alloro); his siblings, Giuseppe (Cindy), Biagio (Patty), Rosa (George Pauls); and many nieces and nephews.

Tony was preceded in death by his father, Biagio, and his father-in-law & mother-in-law John & Sara Demitralis.

Tony will be missed beyond anything words can describe. He leaves us with so much love and beautiful memories which we will keep forever in our hearts. He is eternally loved and will never be forgotten.

Visitation will be held at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E.
