Ara Louise Olson,96, died peacefully in her sleep on July 1,2012, at her home in Sunrise of Barrington. Ara was born December 30,1915, in Macksville, Kansas.
She is survived by her children: Carl Olson, Ronald Olson, and Bonny-Lu Patterson, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sister, Laurene Szymkowiak, and sister-in-law, Jose Terranova. She was preceded in death by her husband, Barney, in 1971.
Services will be held on Friday, July 13,2012, at Davenport Funeral Home, 149 W Main St. (Lake-Cook Rd), Barrington. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to noon, followed by a service and procession to Ridgewood Cemetery, in Des Plaines.
