Arlene A. Curran, 78, of Crystal Lake died Thursday, July 22, 2010, at Fair Oaks Health Care Center in Crystal Lake. She was born March 12, 1932, in Chicago to the late Joseph F. and Martha (nee Bloch) Talbot. Mrs. Curran worked as a secretary for Sears Bank & Trust for 20 years and lived for more than 20 years in Ft. Meyers, FL before moving to Crystal Lake in 2000. Survivors include her sons, Kenneth (Sharon) Ongman of Collinsville and Keith (Linda) Ongman of Harvard; daughter, Cynthia (Bradley) Bromir of Crystal Lake; grandchildren, Keith, Kelly, Daniel, and Patrick Ongman, and Heather, Erin, Brittany, and Ryan Bromir; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Joseph (Danita) Talbot of Carmel, IN and Noreen Welch of Sunrise, FL. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Curran was preceded in death by her husbands, Roy Curran and Keith Ongman; and brother-in-law, Dan Welch. The memorial visitation will be held from 4-8pm on Friday, July 30 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake. The memorial mass will be celebrated at 10am, Saturday, July 31, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 1023 McHenry Ave, Crystal Lake where the family will receive relatives and friends from 9am until the Mass. Father Bruce Ludeke will officiate. Inurnment will follow at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
