Arlene Avery Loschetter Gibson, 72, o f Wauconda, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2012 in Barrington, Illinois.  She was born on May 7,1939, to Milton and Florabell Avery in Chicago.

 

Over the years Arlene enjoyed many crafts, from sewing, refinishing furniture, knitting, crocheting and card making.  She enjoyed working in her yard, planting beautiful shrubs and flowers, creating new gardens, adding ponds, and many other things.  But of all the things Arlene did, she was proudest of being a wife, mother, and grandmother. 

 

Arlene is survived by her husband, William “Bob” Gibson; children, JoEllen (Mark) Banias, and Brad (Marlene) Loschetter; grandchildren, Chase and Fallyn Banias; brother Robert Avery and sisters Judie (Lynn) Bertrand and Marion Bradshaw; stepdaughters  Jenny (Wayne) Herman and Cindy (Mark) Stafani, step-grandchildren Kyle, Chris and Ryan Stafani, and Kelly, Mark, and Jack Herman;  and best friend Mary Edgeworth.

 

She was preceded in death by her first husband Robert Loschetter, her parents, and brothers Roland and George Avery.  

 

Memorial service will be held at 11a.m., Saturday, April 14,2012, at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main Street (Lake Cook Rd.), Barrington, IL 60010, with a short visitation being held one half hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
