Arlene Schroeder

Crystal Lake, Illinois,Arlene Schroeder Arlene Schroeder nee Ferrett, 91, of Clinton, Michigan passed away on Friday, October 29, 2010. She was born on January 1, 1919 in Port Huron, Michigan to the late Edward John R. and Pearl (nee Armstrong) Ferrett. A graduate of the University of Michigan, she taught at a Clinton Elementary School for most of her carreer. She was also a member of the Clinton United Methodist Church for 45 years, the Women?s Club, an avid member of the Republican Party, and volunteered for Meals on Wheels. She is survived by her daughter Karen (Tim) Zick of Huntley, Illinois; her grandsons Alex Zick of Adrian, Michigan and Andy Zick of Huntley; her great grandchildren, Riley and Landon Zick; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband George Henry Schroeder, a son, Kim, and her brother Jack (Mary) Armstrong. The Memorial Service will be held on Friday, Nov. 19 at 11am at Clinton United Methodist Church, Tecumseh/Clinton Rd, Clinton, Michigan 49236. Interment will be private in Riverside Cemetery. Memorials in Mrs. Schroeder?s name may be made to the church.
