Arlene Marie (Kazmarek) Teresi

Arlene Marie Teresi, 87, of Crystal Lake passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021.   She was born in Chicago on April 12, 1934, to George and Helen (Dyskiewicz) Kazmarek.

She graduated from Foreman High School in Chicago, class of 1952. After graduating, Arlene worked at WGN TV in the film department.

On June 11, 1955, she married Ross Teresi in Chicago.  They moved out to Crystal Lake where they raised their five children. After the children were grown, she worked at Amcore Bank for ten years.   During their retirement, Ross and Arlene traveled all over the world and were able to spend many winters in Naples, FL.  Ross preceded her in death in January 2016.

Arlene was a devoted member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church.  She loved spending time with her family, swimming, walking the beach and collecting shells.

Arlene is survived by her children, Ross (Helen), Steve (Wendy), Greg (Denise), Mark (Chris), and Sharon (Kirk) Sohm; fifteen grandchildren and twenty four great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 8, from 9am until the time of prayers at 10:30am.  We will then go in procession to St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church for at 11:00am mass.   Burial will follow at Windridge Memorial Park, Cary.
