Arthur Huffman

Crystal Lake, Illinois,Arthur J. Huffman, 65, of Crystal Lake, died Wednesday, June 9, 2010, at his home. He was born July 22, 1944, in Chicago, to the late William and Claire (nee Zaborowski) Huffman. Mr. Huffman was a Grand Knight with the Knights of Columbus at Christ the King Church, Wonder Lake. He enjoyed woodworking, painting in watercolors, performing magic tricks, and fishing. A loving father and papa, he is survived by his children, Becky (Rodney) Rich and Robert Huffman of Crystal Lake; grandchildren, Joshua, Emily, and Alyssa Rich, and Benjamin and Sydney Huffman; brothers, Dennis (Betty) Huffman of Lansing, Iowa and Jack (Betty) Huffman of Pontoc, Texas; former wife, Prudence Huffman of Woodstock; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Bill Huffman, Jr. and Jackie Weber; and by his nephew, Leon Weber. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, July 22, 2010, at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, 1185 W. Algonquin Rd., Palatine.
