Audrey Casper Hotz

Audrey Casper Hotz, 83, formerly of McHenry, IL was born on October 1, 1934 in Chicago to the late George and Meta Casper and passed away on September 16, 2018 in Cincinnati, OH, where she had lived for several years. She was the loving wife of the late Richard Avenius Hotz; beloved mother of Richard (Joyce), Raymond, Katherine (Juan) Vega and the late Kristin Susan Hotz; cherished grandmother of Caroline, Rebecca, Ethan, Kristin, Connor, Audriana and Elizabeth; dear sister of the late Lorraine Jagade; beloved aunt of Gayle (David) Ekstrom; dear cousin of many.

Audrey was devoted to her family and life-long friends. She gave selflessly of her time to volunteerism, specifically food banks and charities that supported and cared for children with illnesses and special challenges.

Visitation for Audrey will be held on Saturday, September 22 from 10:00am until the time of her service at 11:00am at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake, IL. Interment will be held at Windridge Memorial Park, Cary, IL.
