Audrey McAllister

Cary, Illinois,AUDREY L. MCALLISTER Audrey L. McAllister, 71, of Cary, passed away Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Good Shepherd Hospital. She was born August 4, 1938 in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of Clinton and Audrey (Yarrington) Fippin. On October 19, 1990 she was united in marriage to Terrance "Terry" McAllister. Audrey was an employee of FedEx for over 30 years, was a member of the Red Hats, and volunteered with the Auxiliary of Good Shepherd Hospital. She enjoyed her retirement, painting, traveling, and accompanying her late husband on their "Whizzer" journeys, which she tremendously enjoyed. Survivors include her beloved children, Bob (Vicki) Davis, Lori Rodecker, Rick (Diane) McAllister, Terrie Lee (Ken) Lloyd, Rob McAllister, Larry (Lori) Davis, and Jeffrey Davis; her loving grandchildren, Steve (Amanda) McFarland, Audra Davis, Sarah and Tonya McAllister, Tyler and Tanner Lloyd, and Joey Davis; her cherished great- grandchildren, Lena and Seif McFarland; a dear brother, Dr. William (Pat) Fippin; her brother-in-law, Rory; her sisters-in-law, Marcia and Patricia; and her loving nieces, nephews, and many other extended family members and friends. Preceding her in death were her loving husband of 19 years, Terry, her parents, and her brother, James "Jim" Fippin. Visitation for will be held on Tuesday, March 30 from 3 p.m. until the 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte 176), Crystal Lake.
