Baltazar Cante

Baltazar Gregorio Cante, 81, of Lake Zurich passed away peacefully on July 4, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 17, 1933 in Mexico City, Mexico to Juan and Victoria (nee Pulido) Cante.

Baltazar loved to garden, especially in his vegetable garden. He also was a skilled woodworker and enjoyed sharing his craft with his friends and neighbors by making them birdhouses. Most of all he loved to spend time with his family.

Baltzar will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 60 years, Teresa (nee Iriarte) with whom he was united in marriage on July 19, 1957; his children, Patricia Hubbs, Hector (Barbara) Cante, Adriana (Joseph) Bianchi, Marco Cante; grandchildren, Kevin (Jill), Kris (Mandy) Hubbs, Cecsily and Alexander Bianchi and Nicolas Cante; great-grandchildren, Gabby, Rilie, Tyler, Dillon, River and Walker; and his sister Anna Lundelius.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be Thursday, from 1 PM until time of service at 6 PM on July 9, at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 149 W. Main Street (Lake-Cook Rd) Barrington, IL 60010. Interment will be private.
