Barbara Archer

Barbara T. Archer, 76, of Barrington passed away peacefully on April 30, 2016 surrounded by her loving family . She was born on October 11, 1939 in Evergreen Park, IL to Harold and Beatrice (nee Hanrahan) Schmidt.
Boo Boo, as she was affectionately known by family and friends, was a longtime member of St. Anne Parish in Barrington.
Boo is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, James J. Archer; children, Laurie (John) Lindberg, Teri (Tom) Herchenbach and Jim (Mary Beth) Archer; grandchildren, William (Lauren), Anne and Eric Lindberg, Laura and Matt Herchenbach, Audrey and James Archer and Katlyn Archer; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Mason, Liam Lindberg; brother-in-law, Jack Schmit; sister-in-law, Jeanne Williams; many cousins, nieces and nephews; and by her loving caregiver Debbie Selby. She was preceded in death by her son, Brian Archer, great-grandson, Caleb Lindberg, siblings, Billy Schmidt and Margaret Schmit, and by her parents.
Visitation will be Monday, May 9, 2016, from 9 AM until the 10 AM funeral mass at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 Ela St. (Corner of Franklin and Ela Streets), Barrington, IL 60010. Interment will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 6001 W. 111th St., Alsip. All are invited to meet at the Cemetery office by 2 PM.
