Barbara Artell Stock

Barbara Artell Stock, 91, of Woodstock, Illinois passed away on Friday, June 23, 2017 at Hearthstone Manor.
She was born August 1, 1925 in Salt Lake City, Utah to the late Anna Frederickson and Frank Olson.
Barbara attended Northern Illinois University, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. She was employed with Hines VA Hospital as a Nurse Practitioner. Additionally, Barbara was an accomplished and avid world traveler.
Barbara is survived by her sons, Robert A. (Amanda) Stock, and Mark D. (Charlotte) Stock; her granddaughters, Laurie Stock and Heather (Steve) La Fleur; her siblings, Harvey (Linnea) Hatch, Kirt (Beth) Olson, John (Betty) Olson, Sonja (Kitchener) Head, and many, many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her adoring husband, Maurice; sister, Nancy Gates; brother, Paul Olson; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Lou and Pearl Iglarsh; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Sol and Pearl Stock.
Visitation will be held Sunday, June 25, from 3-6 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, IL. The funeral service will be held the following day at the funeral home at 11 a.m. with visiting beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Wheaton Cemetery, Wheaton, IL.
