Barbara A. Syversen

Barbara A. Syversen, 88, of Crystal Lake, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at her home in Crystal Lake. She was born August 20, 1928 in Chicago to Michael and Mari (nee Schuler) Jacques.
Barbara was a devoted wife and mother. After leaving the workforce to raise her family, Barbara enjoyed spending time at the lake house in Wisconsin with her family. She also was an avid bowler and loved to travel. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Robert Syversen whom she married February 14, 1949 in Chicago; her children, Susan Bridges, Robert (Karen) Syversen, Jr., William (Kathleen) Syversen, and Jean (Jeffrey) Lenard; and her grandchildren, Erick, Matthew, Jessica, Michael, and Kristen.
She is preceded in death by her siblings and her parents.
Services for Barbara will be held privately.
