Barbara Jeanne West
June 2, 1946 –June 23, 2015
Barb was born and grew up in Albany, New York. A lifelong learner she received a B.S. in Physical Therapy from the University at Buffalo and a M.A. as a Spiritual Companion from Loyola University.
Barb found her true passions with her hands. She became an expert seamstress, crafter, quilter, and gardener. Barb enjoyed sharing and giving away her creations to friends and family as well as strangers.
Always, she was her own person, a strong willed and wise woman. She enjoyed traveling with family and friends to new and old places, playing golf and being in the quiet and the outdoors.
She loved God, her family and friends and left this life having made the world a little bit better. She will be missed by all who truly knew her.
“Living is not enough. One must have sunshine, freedom and a little flower” -Hans Christian Anderson
“It is in our idleness, in our dreams, that the submerged truth sometimes comes up to the surface.”

In addition to her husband, Bill, she is survived by her children, Trip (Gina), Eric (Kevin), and Jon (Katherine); her grandchildren, Kylee, Jayden, Aurora, and Scarlett; sister, Marianne Ryan; and many nieces and nephews.
