Beatrice Josephine Flitman

Beatrice Josephine Flitman (nee Berhick), age 95, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.

Beatrice was born in Chicago, IL on March 7, 1929. On January 4, 1955, at age 26, she became a registered professional nurse. She married her beloved husband of 26 years, Emerson Flitman, on August 8, 1958. After spending many years as a homemaker, Beatrice resumed her career in nursing. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Beatrice is survived by her loving children, Jeff (Hisako) Flitman and Annette (Ron) Robbins; and grandchildren April Robbins and sister Magaret Czarnowski.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Emerson Flitman; and sister, Diana Sattler.

A memorial visitation for Beatrice will be held from 11am until the time of service at 12pm on Tuesday September 3, 2024, at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Old Rand Rd., Lake Zurich, IL 60047.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Beatrice’s name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
