Ben Joseph Renda

Ben passed away peacefully at his home in North Barrington February 16, 2020.  He was born March 16, 1943 in Chicago to Anthony and Mary Renda.

Ben is survived by his wife of 57 years, Penny; daughters, Andrea (John) Lavelle, and Laura Renda; grandchildren, Kylie, Karra, John (Mariant), Kimberly, Nicolas, and Zacary; sister, Jacqueline (Victor) Giovanini; sister in law, Karen Renda; brother-in-law, Alex Katehos; and nieces and nephews, Debra Spedale, Cheryl Buchman, Donald Esbjornson, Brian Renda, and Tamara Owen.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Carmen; and his sister-in-law, Priscilla Katehos.

Visitation will be 3-9pm on Wednesday February 19 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 941 S. Old Rand Road, Lake Zurich.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10am Thursday, February 20 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 N. Ela Street, Barrington.  There will be visitation for an hour prior to the mass.  Entombment in All Saints Catholic Cemetery will follow.
