Bernice Palmer was born December 31, 1925 in Des Plaines, Illinois and passed away December 23, 2012 in Woodstock with her daughters, son -in-law, and grandchildren by her side.
Bernice was a long time resident of Cary-Oakwood Hills, Illinois. Prior to retirement she was employed by Big Beam in Crystal Lake for over 25 years.
Not only was Bernice an angel from heaven but she was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her favorite things were her pet dogs, Roxy and Coco, and watching Wheel of Fortune. She was more than just a women, she was a miracle that her family treasured everyday. She will be forever missed but never forgotten.
Bernice is survived by her children Kathy Silva, Bob, and Bernice and son-in-law Arturo Silva. Bernice had 9 grandchildren who she was extremely close to; Tabitha, Arturo Jr., Andrew, Jose, Diana, Brian, Mike, Ashley,Duffy, and Colton. She had 4 great- grandchildren Nathan, Joey, Cole and Cori.
Bernice was preceded in death by her husband and granddaughter Michelle Silva.
A memorial service for Bernice will be held at 2pm, Saturday, January 12, 2013 at The Evangelical Free Church of Crystal Lake, 575 E. Crystal Lake Ave, Crystal Lake.
