Beth Miller Winstead, 58 of Lakewood, Illinois
Born September 25, 1954 in Havre de Grace, MD to Robert and Marion (nee Scoville) Miller, Beth passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 17, 2013 in Woodstock.
Memorial visitation will be 2pm until the time of the memorial service at 5pm Sunday, July 21 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave (Route 176), Crystal Lake IL. Interment will be private.
Beth taught preschool for over 30 years, recently at Rogy’s Learning Place and previously at Somerset Early Childhood Center in Rochester, Michigan. She loved teaching and was loved by thousands of children whose lives she touched. Beth enjoyed summers on the Outer Banks with her family and the time she spent with her golden retriever, Murphy.
Beth is survived by her husband of 35 years, Russell Winstead; daughters Katie (Robert) Reichner and Rebecca (Jason) Tung; brothers, Alan (Judy) Miller and Robert Miller; three nieces; and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents.
