Betty Jenko

Betty was born October 24, 1925 in Virginia, MN. She passed away peacefully at her home in Lake Barrington November 29, 2015.

Betty was the head cook for District 214 for 15 years. After retirement she and her husband enjoyed 20 years in Tucson, AZ. She has resided at Lake Barrington Woods for the past five years, where she made many dear friends.

She is survived by her children; Dennis Jenko and Barb (Joe) Santucci; grandchildren, Cari (Jim) Laramie, Nikki Santucci, and Joey Santucci; and great-grandchildren, Jaden, Jaci, and Jami Laramie. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 62 years, Frank, brother, John Metish, and her parents John and Anna Metish.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am, Thursday, December 3 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 N. Ela Street (corner of Franklin and Ela Sts.) Barrington. There will be visitation at the church from 10am until the time of the funeral mass. Interment will be private.
