Betty Roberts
July 23, 1941 — February 8, 2017
Betty Anne Roberts, 75, of Woodstock passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2017 at Centegra Hospital in Woodstock. She was born July 23, 1941 in Duluth, MN to the late Emil and Helen (Nordling) Olson.
Betty worked most of her career as a teacher’s aide in Lake Elsinore, CA. In her younger years she was a licensed cosmetologist.
She loved flowers, reading, listening to country music, and most of all spending time with her family and friends. Betty was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Betty will be sadly missed by her sons, William (Melanie) and Scott (Tara) Roberts; grandchildren, Madeline and Jack Roberts; sister, Jean (Olson) Self; brothers, Robert and Ronald Olson; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial will be set at a later date.
