Betty Schwank

Barrington, Illinois,A private graveside service for Betty Schwank (nee Langto), 82, will be held at Randhill Cemetery, Arlington Heights. Born December 24, 1928, at her home in Barrington, she passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2010, at her home. Mrs. Schwank worked at the First National Bank of Barrington for many years. She enjoyed knitting, traveling to Alaska, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Linda (Dick) Reuter of Rockford, Bill (Kris) of Woodstock, and Paula (Bill) Fitzgerald of Castle Rock, Colo.; grandchildren, Andrea, Wendi and Brandi Rosborough, Phil Buckley, Brooke, Tana, Natalie, and Will Schwank, and Ryan, Jon and Meghan Fitzgerald. Mrs. Schwank was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Schwank in 2002; parents, Alex and Mildred (nee Hammermiller) Langto; and sisters, June Pulley and Alice Arnold.
